Fall is in the air…

This post is sponsored by Serena and Lily.

The best part of owning a home on Martha’s Vineyard is getting to experience this island at different times of the year now. Before we owned, we always came in July, so we knew about vineyard summers. But what would it be like to get to experience her Autumn splendor? I could only imagine the foliage and ooh, that prefect “sweater weather!”

So when Serena and Lily offered to partner with me to accessorize my screen porch and to create a Fall tablescape, it was the perfect excuse for a Fall Break getaway.

As you may recall, I purchased the Serena and Lily Catalina outdoor dining chair for my screen porch (seen here), so I relished the idea of adding some accessory pieces to the porch. I chose some throw pillows and alpaca blankets, as well as linen napkins, scalloped placements and a few hurricanes. The results were…well judge for yourself:

The Hawthorne pillow covers and alpaca blankets are not intended for outdoor use. However I like to bring the indoors out to really cozy things up. We just bring them back indoors when not in use.

Thankfully, due to a schedule change for my husband, we were now going to get to spend Thanksgiving on the island! We will be adding heaters as the temperatures have started to dip. Can’t wait.
