"I started this career because I loved doing houses. I'd done three of my own and I couldn't keep on moving my family all the time, so I decided to decorate other people's homes and buildings," said Dorothy Draper, one of the first American Interior Decorators. While she started her company in 1925, her words still ring true for me today. I've always loved home design. I remember the joy I would feel as a child when my mother would allow me to give our kitchen or bathroom a "makeover." This would merely be selecting new hand towels or a new shower curtain and rugs, but I took those decisions quite seriously!
Since then, I have become even more fond of curating spaces. From custom home design and design consultation, to styling for events and photo shoots, if there's a space in need of special attention or extra detail, I'm here to provide it. My friends call it the "Deena touch."
